the mri report is in...my oncologist wrote and wants me to get radiation or cyberknife on my cervical spine, which is growing, along with everything else- including my insecurity...this poor little spine o'mine...here's some of the report for those of you following along...
Findings:
On the noncontrast T1 weighted images, close to complete
replacement is seen of the bone marrow throughout the cervical,
thoracic, and lumbar spine. The postcontrast images demonstrate
increased burden of contrast enhancement with near-total contrast
enhancement involving the majority of the vertebral bodies in the
spine. In addition, interval increase in size 7-mm lytic lesion
within the C2 vertebral body.
so, despite my liver and lungs being stable, my bones are falling apart...i'm bummed, mitchell's bummed...but what can we do except put one foot in front of the other...we're waiting for the radiation oncologist to call, hopefully tonight. i'll follow her recommendation...and i'll tell you all what she says...maybe 3 posts in one day...a record...
