2 birthdays...to friendship...

it was the first day of school - starting college at 24

you were in my first class - group dynamics

i thought you were brave, you spoke your truth in front of everyone

i wanted to be like that, like you...

we walked down the hill to the bus together and talked the whole way...

and all these years later, still talking... brave talk.
